About
I'm Gayathri Viswanathan. Teaching is a passion-turned-profession for me. I am an engineering graduate who worked in the corporate sector. My tutoring journey began when I started helping my daughter's friends when she was in the fifth grade and I realised teaching was my calling.
I've been surrounded by academicians my whole life; my father was the principal of Town Higher Secondary School in Kumbakonam, and my mother was an elementary school teacher. I often taught my friends during my school and college years, and later assisted my daughter with her academics.
The opportunity for online classes arose during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I embraced it. My background in science and engineering enabled me to efficiently conduct online classes and utilize necessary software tools.
Teaching is a two-way street - I not only educate others but also myself. My classes are knowledge-oriented, and I am continually motivated by my students' results and interest in the subject.
Excelling in math does not require a high IQ —consistency and discipline are the keys to success.
